Happy Hens gives a visit to a working egg farm a few different shapes: a stop at the farm store, time in the petting zoo, or a more detailed look at how the farm works. Its Ramona property also has a playground and picnic area, making it a possible family outing with more than one activity.

The guided walking and wagon tours cover the pasture, mobile chicken coops and packing facilities, including an egg-washing demonstration. Private group and school tours can be requested separately. If seeing that side of the operation is your main reason for going, arrange a tour rather than assuming a store visit includes it; the public tour list may have gaps between dates.
